Booking Conditions - the not so small print!

Your contract is with MTLC, part of Middlesbrough Council. All bookings will be regarded as provisional until a signed copy of the confirmation sheet is returned by fax to our Event Office at MTLC (Fax no.: 01642 242019).

Provisional ('first hold') bookings will be held for 72 hours awaiting confirmation, after which time the space reserved will be re-let.

Guaranteed final minimum catering numbers will be required 10 days prior to the start of the event, together with any special dietary requirements. Any increase in numbers can be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the event. The client may not bring any food/drinks into the centre for use during an event, unless agreed otherwise and authorised in writing by MTLC.

Booking Cancellations - Training Rooms

In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply and extend to the total charge, which includes training room hire and pre-booked food and beverage charges.

29-15 days prior to event - Room Hire only
15-10 days prior to event - Room Hire plus 50% cost of pre-booked refreshments
10-0 days prior to event - Full cost of booked event

Booking Cancellations - Conference Hall

In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply and extend to the total charge, which includes Conference Hall hire and pre-booked food and beverage charges.

90-60 days prior to event - Room Hire only
60-30 days prior to event - Room Hire plus 50% cost of pre-booked refreshments
30-0 days prior to event - Full cost of booked event

If the cancelled event is re-booked and takes place within 90 days and if space can be re-let at short notice cancellation charges may be reduced to an administration charge or waived.
